Vintage CB Radio QSL Postcard Scottish Piper KNP 4077 Dryden NY Jim Heidt:
$12.40

This unique vintage QSL postcard from the Citizens Band (CB) radio era features a striking green silhouette of a Scottish Highland piper against a warm brown background. The front of the card proudly displays the call sign KNP 4077, along with an \"Official Press PA Photographer\" emblem, indicating a connection to press or photography in Pennsylvania. It also includes the names Jim and Henri Kelley and an address in Dryden, New York, alongside the familiar amateur radio closing of \"73\'s\" and a distinctive \"CB\" triangle logo, firmly placing it within the CB radio hobbyist community. The reverse side of the postcard is a pre-printed form designed for confirming a radio contact (QSO), with fields for date, time, signal report (RST), transceiver (TRCVR), antenna (Ant.), and remarks. It explicitly features \"PLS. QSL\" (Please confirm receipt of card), a common request among radio operators. The card\'s design and printing are attributed to Jim Heidt, KID 1571, also of Dryden, New York, adding to its regional historical significance. A red rubber stamp on the back indicates it was sent via KMA 7457 to Roger & Laurel Blood in Malden, Connecticut, confirming its use as a genuine communication piece from a bygone era of personal radio communication.
