• The Blade: Features a wonderfully maintained edge that remains sharp. The steel has developed a deep, dark oxidation (patina) and surface pitting characteristic of vintage carbon steel.

• The Handle: The original wood scales are solid and securely attached via the full tang. There is a small speck of blue paint on the top of the handle (see photos) and general darkening from handling.
