Vintage Breyer Classic Series Arabian Family Mare (Mold 3055) in a rich, shaded chestnut finish. This iconic piece was originally sculpted by Chris Hess and Maureen Love, making it a staple for nostalgic collectors and horse lovers alike.
Condition Details:
Authenticity: Features the crisp, authentic molded circular Breyer Molding Co. U.S.A. stamp on the inside right hind leg.
Body and Paint: The shaded chestnut coat retains a beautiful, smooth satin finish. There is some minor factory overspray/shading variation and light surface wear consistent with age, typical of vintage plastic models.
Flaws to Note: Please observe the close-up photos carefully—there is a small area of light scuffing/rubs on the left shoulder/barrel area and minor wear on the ear tips.
Structure: The model stands fully independent, sturdy, and straight without warping. This model has been kept in a smoke-free home and has been gently wiped down for display. It would make an excellent addition to an existing Arabian family set or a classic vintage Breyer shelf collection.
