Vintage GATCO solid brass model of the Sagres, Portugal’s famous three-masted sailing ship.
This is a really attractive old display piece, with individually formed brass sails, masts, flags and extensive fine wire rigging. The ship sits in a dark wooden display cradle with its original plaque reading:

There’s a huge amount of detail in it, particularly in the rigging, and the aged brass gives it a great look. A nice piece for a nautical collection, office, study or bookshelf.
