Beautiful and very substantial Dancing Ganesha (Nritya Ganapati) statue, made in India.
This is an impressive piece with wonderful detail throughout. Ganesha is depicted in a dancing pose with four arms, surrounded by an elaborate decorative temple-style arch. His traditional companion, Mushika, can be seen at his feet.
The statue is richly decorated from top to bottom, including Ganesha’s jewelry and clothing, the ornamental arch, and the large lotus-style pedestal. The warm reddish-brown patinated finish is accented with areas of golden/brass color, giving the piece a beautiful appearance.
The underside retains a MADE IN INDIA label.
