Vintage Braniff Airlines Alexander Girard Wool First Class Blanket For Sale

Based on similar blankets in colors and sizes this appears to be a Vintage Braniff Airlines Alexander Girard Wool First Class Blanket. It measures 46 in X 61.5 in. It is a brightly colored, large scale plaid of gold and orange. These blankets were designed by the famous American designer, Alexander Girard, in the early 1960's especially for Braniff Airlines. There are two tiny moth holes in the center square and no fraying in this woven wool blanket. There are some light smudges. I have not attempted to clean it. No obvious odors but does have that vintage smell. There are no identifying tags. The last photo shows a similar actual Braniff blankets from online sources for comparison.
