The pattern is called Doric (open lace). The color is a \"dark blue mist\". The compote features a frosted satin finish. These pieces were produced around the mid 20th century from the 1940\'s-1960\'s. It\'s a great example of mid century American glass. The design features an open reticulated lattice rim with a geometric openwork stem and a matching scalloped cut out base. Makes a stunning centerpiece for a dining table.
