Vintage Blue Ridge Southern Potteries Hand Painted Floral Dinner Plate USA 9\" For Sale

Produced by Southern Potteries, Inc. in Erwin, Tennessee, this gorgeous plate showcases the vibrant, free-hand artistry that made the Blue Ridge line legendary.

Design & Details

• The Motif: A striking, bold red rose and delicate matching bud, flanked by beautifully swept sage and hunter green leaves.

• The Rim: Features a distinct, classic fluted/pie-crust edge detailed with perfectly executed green sponge-stamping along the border.

• The Craftsmanship: This is a true Hand Painted Underglaze piece. Because each brushstroke was done by hand before glazing, no two pieces from this line are ever completely identical—giving you a unique piece of functional art!

• The Maker's Mark: The back features the classic, highly sought-after circular "Blue Ridge Mountain & Pine Tree" stamp reading: "Hand Painted - Underglaze / Blue Ridge / Made in U.S.A. / Southern Potteries, Inc."

Excellent Vintage Condition: The underglaze colors remain incredibly rich, deep, and glossy.

• Free of any major chips, cracks, or heavy utensil scratching. The hand-painted details are crisp and wonderfully preserved. (Please review all high-resolution photos to appreciate the exact brushwork).
