Vintage Blue Grass Belknap USA Claw Hammer 47 1 1/2lb Part Number On Handle HTF For Sale

For sale is a very nice example of the Belknar Tool Co. 47 1 1/2 Carpenters “Blue Grass” Hammer. This hammer is from the mid-late part of last century. (1950s-70s. It weighs 1.5lbs or 22oz, 13in long and shows minimal wear considering it is a used vintage hammer. It has some scars and discoloration on the treated wood handle and iron head. I have seen, sold restored and held hundreds of these hammers over the past 20 years. This is probably the best used one I have ever come across.
