Vintage Birmingham Stove & Range BSR Miniature Cast Iron Skillet Spoon Rest is a useful and original collectible piece made in the United States. This tiny skillet is a stove companion that can be used as a butter melting pan or as a spoon rest. These were also intended to be marketed to the men in hardware stores as an ash tray. Crafted from durable cast iron, this vintage item is an unmarked pan with the signature BSR handle on the underside and typical BSR pour spouts. What is unique about the piece is that all of BSR pans had a heat ring and this tiny pan has the flat design instead.
