Vintage Aynsley English Cottage Bone China Biscuit Barrel With Lid For Sale

Aynsley & Sons produced the Cottage Garden pattern between 1970-2001. This biscuit barrel has a raised pattern on the bone china. It looks like a garden picket fence encircling the top and bottom border as well. There is a dainty scalloped edge at the top edge. The dainty lid also has a raised pattern and a loop handle. The lid sets inside the barrel\'s edge. The barrel is approximately 8\" tall with lid and the diameter measures 5\". The floral and fauna transfer art is colorful and intricate. The original Aynsley sticker is on the bottom of barrel along with the backstamp. This gorgeous traditional piece would make a wonderful wedding or birthday gift. There are no cracks nor crazing; however, there is the tiniest chip on bottom edge that I believe was made during production. ( see pics). It has a high gloss as well. This piece is like new and is microwave/DW safe.
