This vintage Ashtray from Hotel Cipriani, Venice, Italy is a rare find.
Hotel Cipriani was opened in 1958 by Giuseppe Cipriani founder of Harry's Bar in Venice. It is considered one of the leading luxury hotels in the world has been frequented by high society and celebrities alike.
Ashtray has Hotel Cipriani, Venezia and the hotel's bird logo each on one of three sides in light blue on white ceramic. Dark blue trim on top and the edges of three cigarette holders. Made in Italy marked on the bottom.
It is in very good condition. Some pin holes which occurred in production. Very small rough spot on the tip of one cigarette holder and two thin short dark lines, each aprox. 1/8", one a hairline crack, on another cigarette holder. See last two photos. Only noticed on very close inspection. Do not detract from overall very good condition.
