Vintage Apollo Safety Razor Set with Original Case, Stropping Device & Cloth

This vintage Apollo double edge safety razor set was made in France and dates to approximately the 1920s-1930s. The set includes the Apollo double-edge safety razor with an open-comb design and an original Apollo DE blade, an Apollo blade refreshing/stropping device with its original woven fabric belt, the original case with a purple satin interior, and an Apollo cleaning/polishing cloth. Unfortunately the 2 blade cases that I believe accompanied the original set are missing.

The stropping device is marked:

• “Repasseur Special pour le célèbre rasoir Apollo” (Special finisher for the famous Apollo razor)
• “Fabrication Française” (Made in France)
• \"Repassage Parfait, Des 4 Faces, Tranchantes, En Vquelques Va-et-vient\" (Perfect sharpening on all four sides in just a few back-and-forth strokes)
• \"affile sans pâte\" (hone without paste)

The razor comb plate is marked:

“S.G.C.O.” (Société Générale de Coutellerie et in the set:

• Apollo safety razor
• Apollo DE blade
• Apollo blade refreshing/stropping device with woven fabric belt
• Original case
• Original Apollo cleaning/polishing pre-owned condition with wear and signs of age and use consistent with a piece of this vintage.
• The leather closure strap on the case is fraying at the top and is fragile as a result.
• The case exhibits cosmetic wear from storage and handling over the years, the bottom in particular is not in great shape and has some separation between the wooden case and the material around it.
