Beautiful native American basket. I believe this to be an Apache burden basket. The basket has 16 leather tassels at the bottom and ate around the top. Each tassel ends with a metal cap. The metal makes a lovely jingling sound when the basket moves. The basket also has a leather cord at the top for hanging the basket is woven out of natural materials.
The woven part of the basket is approximately 7 inches tall the diameter at the top ranges from 8 1/2 to 8 inches as it is slightly oval.
Went home. The basket is approximately 24 inches long from the bottom metal tip to the top of the hanging cord.
