Beautiful and uncommon vintage Andrea porcelain Marie Antoinette bust, retaining its original “Hand Painted – Andrea – Made in Japan” foil label.
An identical example of this bust is known as part of a companion pair depicting Marie Antoinette and Napoleon, helping identify the subject of this elegant portrait.
Standing approximately 11 inches tall, the figure is beautifully modeled in matte white bisque porcelain with an elaborate 18th-century hairstyle, cascading curls, finely detailed draped clothing, tassel and pendant. The matte bisque gives the figure an elegant marble-like appearance.
The bust is mounted on a striking glossy deep-green porcelain pedestal with gold accents, including gold bands around the pedestal and square base.
Most importantly, this example retains its original oval foil label on the underside reading:

The Andrea logo also incorporates a prominent decorative stylized “S.” The label itself does not spell out “Sadek”; however, Andrea porcelain is associated with the Charles Sadek Import Company and is commonly collected and marketed under the Andrea / Andrea by Sadek name.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The white bisque figure is exceptionally clean with no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs observed. The facial features, elaborate hairstyle, drapery, tassel and pendant remain crisp and beautifully preserved.
There is a very small area of glaze/finish irregularity or loss around the junction where the white bust meets the green pedestal. It does not appear to be a crack or structural damage and may be related to manufacture/age. Minor age-related wear is also visible to portions of the gold trim. Please review all photographs, including close-ups of the pedestal and original foil label.
