Beautiful matched pair of vintage hand-carved wood African figural sculptures featuring two expressive portrait busts with carved botanical/leaf backgrounds.
• Each piece is individually hand carved from solid hardwood with wonderful dimensional detail throughout the faces, hair, clothing, and surrounding foliage.
• Both pieces bear the same carved maker’s mark/signature, indicating they were created as a matched pair by the same carver. Artist/carver has not been identified.
• Rich reddish-brown stained finish with visible natural wood grain.
• Dimensional sculptural faces project outward from the carved wall panels, creating a striking three-dimensional appearance.
• Each measures approximately 10.5” tall × 3.5” wide.
