Vintage Acoma Pueblo Polychrome Pottery 9" x 7.75" Jar - Beverly Garcia For Sale

For sale is a vintage Acoma Pueblo pottery jar by the potter/artist Beverly Garcia (b. 1955). It stands about 7 3/4" tall and is just shy of 9" at the widest point. This polychrome jar is nicely painted with several black and orange symbols and geometric patterns on white clay. What's interesting is that most of the symbols are on the upper part of the pot's body, with what look like four bird heads dipping down to the lower part, which really makes them stand out. The pot is signed on the bottom 'B.G. Acoma', and it is in great condition with no cracks or chips. Some light surface wear is evident, but nothing unusual and nothing that detracts from the great form and painting.
