Vintage ART DECO 1930s Ceramic Urn Vase AQUA BLUE GLAZE Beautiful Shape /Heavy

Size 8\" high, 5 7/8\" across top, round base 4.5\" across

Coloration is outstanding on this one:

Lovely jewel toned shade of a striking AQUA BLUE that has a lot of mint green in it, almost a robin\'s egg blue. It is that wonderful iconic color that seemed to be everywhere in the 1920s and 1930s and now is very hard to find in any modern items. The colored glaze is also on the inside of the piece.

Features a stunning ART DECO pattern of vertical ribs at top with horizonal barrel rings beneath. Foot on the vase curves slightly outwards for stability.

Genuine vintage early 1930s design and form

Very heavy, substantially made

Would look lovely on display and is still very usable as a vase.

Excellent condition, no flaws whatsoever other than one very shallow and small flake off of edge of foot- see last pic. No other nicks chips cracks crazing or repair. Colors rich, glaze shiny and unfaded. On underside of vase, there are 3 half circles indented into the foot at regular intervals, and at quick glance in the photos they can look like chips- they are NOT. See photo of underside of vase. A wonderful piece. Not impressed with a marker\'s mark.
