Vintage 1950s/1960s AAA "National Award" Chrome Bumper Topper / Grille Badge Emblem
Measurements: Approximately 4 3/4" Wide across the oval x 4 1/4" Total Height including clamp assembly
Up for sale is an original, scarce vintage AAA "National Award" automotive bumper topper / grille emblem badge.
This is a heavy, high-grade die-cast metal emblem featuring bright chrome plating, raised gold-tone "AAA" block lettering against a deep black background, and an enameled lower banner in cream with debossed ruby red lettering.
The reverse is cast with original manufacturer markings: "© AAA" and "PKE / PAT. PENDING".
Complete Swivel Mount Hardware: Most surviving bumper toppers have broken or missing brackets. This example retains its complete original ball-and-socket swivel mounting assembly and heavy-gauge threaded clamp bracket, allowing for direct attachment to bumper lips, license plate brackets, or horizontal grille bars. The ball joint articulates so you can align the badge straight upright on curved classic bumpers.
