Vintage A.S. Campbell Company Cello pure aluminum canteen manufactured in East Boston, Massachusetts. Features a round aluminum body, original olive drab canvas cover with snap closures, and a threaded metal cap secured by a short chain. An interesting early American outdoor collectible with military-style vintage condition with visible age and use. Aluminum body has scratches, scuffs, oxidation, and discoloration. Original-style brown olive drab fabric cover shows fraying, worn edges, and discoloration. Black painted snap buttons have finish loss. Threaded cap and retaining chain are present. Interior cleanliness and watertightness have not been tested. Sold as a collectible, not recommended for drinking use without proper evaluation.
