Vintage 950 Silver Greek Orthodox Icon - Saint Demetrios Item Description
This is a beautiful vintage Greek Orthodox miniature icon depicting Saint Demetrios (Agios Dimitrios) on horseback. Crafted with a 950 silver front cover (clearly stamped \"SILVER 950\" on the left side), the piece features a highly detailed, traditional Byzantine art replica design.
The back of the icon retains its original orange manufacturer\'s sticker, which reads in part: \"SILVER TRADITION - Precious holy image made of proof, which depicts traditional copy of Byzantine Art. MADE IN GREECE.\" It is mounted on a black backing and includes a small metal loop at the top for wall hanging.
