Vintage 8\" Chalkware Plaster Reproduction Statue of Michelangelo\'s Pieta For Sale

This is a reproduction of Michelangelo\'s Pieta with the Virgin Mary mourning over the body of Jesus Christ. It\'s an attractive rendition standing 8\" tall and 7 1/4\" wide. I believe it\'s chalkware or some similar plaster-like material. There is a small place underneath the drape under Jesus where the outer ivory glaze has chipped, and it looks like white plaster, but I\'m just not sure. There\'s another place on the back where the outer glaze has worn and you can see a bit of the white plaster. It\'s in otherwise very good condition. It\'s a good heavy weight, almost three pounds.
