Striking pair of vintage brass and clear Lucite double candlestick holders with a sculptural Modernist design. Each features a substantial stepped brass base, faceted clear Lucite center, long horizontal brass bar, two squared candle cups, and a spherical brass accent at the center.
Beautiful architectural form with Mid-Century Modern and subtle Brutalist/Hollywood Regency influence. An unusual matched pair that would look fantastic on a dining table, mantel, console, or credenza.
Each measures approximately 9” wide x 4.5” high.
Unmarked; maker unknown. Vintage condition with age-related patina, oxidation, surface wear and scratches to the brass. Lucite may show light surface wear consistent with age. Brass has not been polished and retains its original aged patina. Please see photos for condition details.
