Vintage 3 Pcs Abingdon Gilt Candlestick Holders & Oval Trinket Or Candy Dish USA
Vintage Abingdon USA gilt double candlestick holders with matching oval trinket dish/candy dish. Victorian style in gold with floral porcelain plate. I believe the base material is painted porcelain, but I don\'t know this for sure. Bowl features an attractive and elegant wavy edge, with a floral designed porcelain interior. Candlestick holders each have a space for 2 candles (candles are not included - intended for picture purposes only).
Trinket dish is rather large, measuring 11 inches long, 6 & 7/8 inches wide, and 2 & 1/2 inches high. There are no chips or cracks, but there is some fading of the gold paint in various areas, predominantly on the edge area. Some felt has been glued to the bottom and is separating, revealing the underside that has some glue marks on it (please see pictures).
Candlestick holders measure 4 & 1/2 inches high at the tallest point, 5 & 1/4 inches across, and have a 4 inch base diameter. One of these pieces has a pretty large crack that appears to have possibly been glued back together at some point. It\'s not easily visible except upon close examination, and does not affect or compromise the functionality of the piece nor its attractive aesthetic. There is some fading of the gold paint in various places on both pieces (please see pictures).
