Striking vintage sculptural table lamp featuring three detailed koi fish intertwined around the base and stem.This is a substantial, heavy piece weighing approximately 5 lb 10 oz, with beautifully detailed scales, fins and facial features throughout the sculptural fish design. The aged brass/bronze-tone finish gives it wonderful vintage character.An especially interesting candidate for a vintage lighting collector, dealer or someone experienced in lamp restoration.Details:

It is being sold as antique brass color/finish, not as confirmed solid brass.IMPORTANT ELECTRICAL CONDITION:This lamp is being sold as a restoration/rewiring project and should NOT be used in its present electrical condition.During testing, the lamp powered on and the dial switch on the lamp itself operated normally. However, electrical contact became unstable when the cord was moved and a bulb blew during testing. The inline cord switch housing is also damaged/open, as clearly shown in the photos.Because of this, the existing cord/electrical components should be considered in need of repair or replacement. The lamp should be inspected and repaired by someone qualified to work on vintage lighting before being plugged in or used.The sculptural lamp body is solid and substantial and makes this a wonderful restoration candidate.Vintage pre-owned condition with patina, surface wear, scratches, oxidation and other signs of age and previous use.
