Up for sale/sale is an incredibly rare piece of early-2000s Nickelodeon history: an original, unused promotional cellulose sponge from the 2002 New York City Department of Environmental Protection (NYC DEP) water conservation campaign.
Featuring SpongeBob SquarePants and the iconic slogan, "Save Water - Don't Drip New York Dry!", these were distributed in limited quantities to NYC schools and civic events over 24 years ago.
Because most of these were actually used, wet, and destroyed, finding one completely dry, flat, and unexpanded is exceptionally rare. A perfect addition for any serious SpongeBob collector, vintage animation enthusiast, or collector of unique NYC municipal history.
