CONDITION:
Vintage pre-owned condition with substantial age-related character. The punched metal displays tarnish, oxidation, discoloration, scratches, surface marks, finish variation, small dents, and irregularities throughout. The wooden base shows scratches, finish wear, discoloration, dust, and other signs of age.
Dust and debris remain inside the lower lamp chamber, along with some cobwebs around the upper shade. The hinged access door on the lower section opens and closes. The large matching punched-tin shade has age-related wear and may sit with slight handmade irregularity.
Both the upper and lower lights illuminated when tested. This was a brief functionality test only. The lamp retains older electrical components and should be inspected by a qualified person before extended use.
Light bulbs are not included. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are an important part of the condition description.
DESCRIPTION:
Exceptional vintage two-light table lamp constructed from pierced or punched tin with a wooden base and an unusually large matching metal shade.
The cylindrical lower body contains its own interior bulb, allowing warm light to shine through the elaborate punched patterns. A hinged side door provides access to the lower socket. Above it, a conical pierced-metal section supports the upper lamp socket and coordinating shade.
The dramatic shade features large Pennsylvania Dutch-inspired tulip or floral medallions surrounded by hearts, scrolls, and geometric borders. Coordinating hearts, flowers, and sunburst motifs decorate the illuminated base. When lit, hundreds of tiny openings cast a warm patterned glow across the surrounding walls and surfaces.
This substantial statement lamp would be magnificent in a primitive, Early American, Colonial, Pennsylvania Dutch, farmhouse, rustic, country, cabin, or historic-inspired interior. It has the scale and presence to anchor a mantel, console table, sideboard, entryway, or large bedside table.

The store closed approximately 40 years ago, and its remaining inventory and contents were recently released through the owners’ estate.
