Vintage 1998 heavy cast metal turtle accent lamp with an amber tortoiseshell glass shade. Produced in January 1998 based on the original factory date sticker on the underside, this piece features a heavy cast metal frame with a dark bronze-toned finish.
The metal base is modeled after a land tortoise, featuring a prominent pointed tail and detailed pebbled scale textures on all four feet.
The dome-shaped art glass shade mimics a turtle shell with a gorgeous mottled amber and cream tortoiseshell pattern that creates a warm, cozy glow when illuminated.
Condition:
Excellent working vintage condition. The art glass shell is pristine with a very clean ground bottom edge and no chips, cracks, or flea bites. The cast metal base retains its original dark patina with minor age-appropriate surface wear. The factory date sticker (0198) and Quality Control stickers are intact on the underside.
Will be wrapped very protectively multiple times (and in 2 separate pieces).
