He is depicted in traditional intricately hand- painted robes while holding a young child. Symbolizing the blessing of a thriving family and good fortune for future generations. This piece was crafted in the world, renowned pottery capital of Jingdezhen, China and is part of a fantastic example of late twentieth century Chinese export art porcelain.
Manufactured in 1996 (stamped "96" directly on the unglazed base).

Style: Famille Rose ( Fencai) hand-painted, overglaze enamel featuring detailed clouds, waves, and floralrobe motifs.
