Vintage 1990's New Bright Musical Christmas Express Elf Train No 183 With Box

Train parts and (18) track pieces are in great condition. The box popped open when I was removing to verify inside items. The box was reconstructed-One side opening is taped closed due to some of the cardboard missing. The other side can be opened and closed.
This does take 6 (C) batteries- Not included
The Styrofoam has darkening spots on each end side- everything was wiped down.
The box has issues cosmetically- Pictures are provided- please review
