Vintage 1989 Hisar Tekstil Large Islamic Wall Hanging – Mecca / Kaaba – 48\" x 65 For Sale

Exceptional large-format vintage Hisar Tekstil Islamic wall hanging, made in Turkey and featuring a detailed depiction of Mecca and the Kaaba / Masjid al-Haram.

This piece was personally purchased by the original owner in the Gulf region in 1989 for approximately $400, making it a documented period acquisition rather than a recently obtained decorative textile.

At approximately 48 x 65 inches, this is substantially larger than the smaller Hisar Tekstil prayer rugs and wall hangings commonly seen on the secondary market.

• Maker: Hisar Tekstil
• Made in Turkey

I have searched extensively and have not found another example online matching this particular combination of large size and design.

This is being offered as a collectible vintage Islamic textile and decorative wall hanging rather than an ordinary modern prayer rug.

Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are part of the description and show the actual item being offered.

A beautiful and unusual piece for a collector of Islamic art, Turkish textiles, Middle Eastern décor, or vintage religious pieces.
