Original vintage 1986 The World of Teddy Ruxpin lunch box manufactured by Thermos, featuring a cheerful full-color illustration of Teddy Ruxpin and his best friend Grubby enjoying an adventure in a whimsical woodland setting. The front artwork depicts Teddy in his familiar brown-and-cream outfit, standing beside a smiling yellow Grubby surrounded by colorful flowers, mushrooms, green grass, and leafy trees. The distinctive red "THE WORLD OF TEDDY RUXPIN" logo appears above the characters, with the original red THERMOS branding in the lower corner. The illustration retains its colorful 1980s cartoon styling and is set into a bright yellow molded plastic lunch box with rounded corners and a recessed front panel.

Teddy Ruxpin became one of the most recognizable children's characters of the mid-1980s, combining animated adventures, talking bear toys, books, and an extensive range of licensed merchandise. This original 1986 lunch box captures that era of childhood nostalgia with its colorful character graphics and unmistakable yellow plastic construction. The artwork bears a 1986 Alchemy II, Inc. copyright, confirming its connection to the original Teddy Ruxpin franchise. Unlike later reproduction merchandise, this is an original period lunch box manufactured in the United States. The underside retains the molded THERMOS trademark, while the back is embossed "MADE IN U.S.A." The combination of original character graphics, American manufacture, and period Thermos construction makes it a fun collectible for vintage lunch box enthusiasts and fans of classic 1980s toys and television.

The lunch box features a durable molded plastic body with an integrated hinged lid, original translucent white carrying handle, and front fastening latch. Inside, the original Thermos retaining clip remains attached, including its molded THERMOS branding and temperature symbols. The interior is finished in matching yellow plastic and retains the simple, functional construction typical of children's lunch boxes from the period. The box can be displayed with the illustrated front facing outward, carried by its original handle, or incorporated into a collection of vintage 1980s character lunch boxes. THIS LISTING IS FOR THE LUNCH BOX ONLY. THE ORIGINAL MATCHING THERMOS BOTTLE IS NOT INCLUDED.
