Up for sale is an authentic, large-format vintage poster printed for the **1984 Venice Carnival (Carnevale di Venezia)**, officially issued by the **Comune di Venezia** (Municipality of Venice).
This beautifully detailed poster features a historical reproduction of the 18th-century painting by Venetian chronicler **Gabriele Bella** (1730–1799). The lower right corner displays a painted scroll identifying the scene: *"Feste che si sogliono fare nella Piazzetta di S. Marco nel giorno del Giovedì Grasso"* (Celebrations usually held in the Piazzetta of St. Mark on Fat Thursday). It showcases historical carnival acrobatics, human pyramids, tightrope walkers, and festive crowds right outside the Doge's Palace.
