Up for sale is a rare, matching pair of vintage ceramic 10-inch fluted pie baking dishes from the classic Country Harvest series, signed "Dee." This set includes both the Strawberry Pie and Cherry Pie recipe plates.
What makes this particular pair incredibly unique is the custom advertising backstamp on the reverse side of both dishes. They were commissioned in 1984 to commemorate the local business partnership of Florian Wersal and Ed Reiner at R&W Feed & Farm Supply in Springfield, Minnesota.
The backstamp features prominent, classic logos from major agricultural companies of the era:
• Hormel
• Cargill
• Vigorena Feeds
Condition:
Both plates are in great vintage condition with some crazing as expected for age. The front graphics and recipe text are bright, crisp, and clear. The backstamp lettering and corporate logos are fully intact and highly legible.
Perfect for collectors of Minnesota regional history, vintage kitchenware, or classic agricultural advertising memorabilia!
