Vintage 1984 Los Angeles Olympics Hungary NOC Boycott Enamel Lapel Pin Badge 1.3”
Immerse your collection in the curated nostalgia and deep political history of the 1984 Summer Olympic Games with this rare Hungary National Olympic Committee (NOC) official lapel pin. Embodying a refined dark academia aesthetic, this historical treasure features a gorgeous gold-tone base beautifully inset with sleek enamel stripes representing Hungary\'s national tricolor flag.A Rare Piece of Cold War History:
This pin carries significant historical value due to the 1984 Soviet-led boycott of the Los Angeles Games. Because Hungary ultimately withdrew from competing in solidarity with the Soviet Union, these officially produced team pins were never fully distributed or utilized at the event. This makes it an incredibly desirable piece of boycott memorabilia for serious sports historians. Ideal for grounding your vintage street style, it serves as the perfect accessory pinned to structured blazers, denim jackets, or canvas bags to channel a subtle gorpcore or resort wear retro vibe.Measurements
