Vintage 1983 Watkins ceramic pie baking dish featuring the Dutch Brownie Pie with Cinnamon Hot Fudge Sauce recipe. The blue and white design has a charming Dutch theme with windmill, wooden shoes, hearts and decorative border detailing.
The complete brownie pie and cinnamon hot fudge sauce recipes are printed directly inside the dish, making this a great display piece for a vintage kitchen while remaining useful for baking and serving. The underside is dated 1983 and marked Watkins, No. 6482, USA. It is also marked for conventional and microwave oven use and dishwasher safe.
A particularly fun piece of 1980s Watkins kitchenware and a harder-to-find recipe plate design.
Condition
Very good vintage condition. No chips, cracks, or crazing. The printed Dutch Brownie Pie recipe and blue border design remain bright and well preserved. Two small areas of surface/glaze wear on the reverse are rough to the touch and are shown in the close-up photos.
