For sale is a charming, highly collectible vintage ceramic miniature greeting card made by Philip Laureston Studio Pottery in England. Shaped like a tiny open book or card, the front reads "Anniversary" and opens up to reveal "With Love" on the inside page.
It features an incredibly sweet, whimsical illustration of garden insects, including a bumblebee waiter serving a drink and a ladybug nestled among a cluster of pink and white daisies.
The original gold foil factory stamp "Laureston-England" is completely intact on the back. This specific piece includes a beautifully preserved, handwritten inscription from a previous owner dated '83 ("To: Mom & Dad, From: Ralph & Jean"), adding a wonderful touch of authentic vintage nostalgia and dating the piece exactly to 1983.
Condition:
Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, or noticeable crazing. The glossy glaze remains bright, and the colors are vibrant. The handwritten ink on the back foil label is clear and legible. Please see photos for detailed views and measurements.
