Wonderful vintage Christmas display depicting the Cratchit family from Charles Dickens' classic A Christmas Carol.
The two-piece display includes three characters:
Bob Cratchit & Tiny Tim – Bob is dressed in a plaid Victorian coat, tall gray top hat and knitted white scarf while carrying Tiny Tim. Tiny Tim wears a burgundy jacket, tan trousers, cap and gray scarf and holds a sprig of holiday greenery.
Mrs. Cratchit – dressed in a burgundy Victorian-style dress with white lace-trimmed apron and bonnet. She carries a traditional Christmas pudding/plum pudding decorated with green holly leaves and red berries.
The figures feature an appealing combination of molded and painted faces and limbs with detailed fabric costumes and miniature accessories. Both are mounted on removable/supporting white metal display stands marked KAISER CHICAGO.
A gold tag/cord associated with the Bob Cratchit figure appears dated 1983, making this an especially attractive period Christmas display for collectors of Kurt S. Adler, Charles Dickens, Victorian Christmas décor and A Christmas Carol memorabilia.

Clothing shows some age-related discoloration, loose threads, lint/fuzz and general handling/storage wear. Painted and molded surfaces show minor marks and finish wear. Mrs. Cratchit's pudding/platter decoration shows age and wear, including visible residue/finish irregularities. Metal stands show light scratches and wear. Bob's gold hanging tag/cord remains present. Please review all photographs closely, as they are an important part of the condition description.
