Vintage 1983 House & Home Fabric 3.5 Yds 55\" Botanical Stripe Taupe Navy Retro For Sale

This early-1980s design combines large,loosely rendered botanical sprays with strongly structured vertical borders.The floral panels feature dramatic navy leaves and seed-pod forms mixed withtaupe, plum, peach and cream, while the borders have a dense geometricbasketweave or herringbone-like ground scattered with smaller floral elements.

The result is a sophisticated transitionaldesign with both late-1970s modernist and early-1980s influences. It has anespecially good period palette of deep navy blue, taupe, mushroom, beige, plumand soft peach.

The selvage retains the original House &Home identification, 1983 copyright date and printed color registration.

The vertical stripe format is particularlyuseful for draperies, curtains, Roman shades, valances, pillows, cushions,decorative wall panels and other home decorating projects where the strongarchitectural pattern can be used to advantage.

Measures: 55” wide between selvages by 3.5continuous yards long. Sold as one complete piece.
