Wonderful surviving souvenir from the 1982 World's Fair in Knoxville, Tennessee, featuring a charming pair of pigs/piglets sculpted together.

This piece retains its original paper tag, which identifies American Clay Products of Prattville, Alabama as a concessionaire at the 1982 World's Fair.

According to the original tag:

“This item made of clay from the banks of the Tennessee River. Item was hand crafted and natural clay color preserved with clear glaze.”

The figurine has a beautiful creamy natural clay color with reddish-brown variations visible beneath the glossy clear glaze. The coloration gives the piece a rustic, handcrafted appearance.

Condition: Very nice vintage condition with age-appropriate signs of handling and storage. I do not see an obvious major chip, crack or repair.
