Vintage Frankoma pottery cup never used condition. Thecup has a Doberman dog in black on the front and below the dog\'s bust it isdated 1980 and signed. Marked on the base: FRANKOMA 5L. Made in the USA. The cupmeasures 4.75 inches high by 3.25 inches in diameter at the top of the cup.
Frankoma was founded in 1933 in Norman, Oklahoma, byJohn Frank, who was a professor of ceramics at the University of Oklahoma from1927 to 1936. The name Frankoma was derived from \"Frank\" plus thelast three letters of \"Oklahoma\".
