Up for sale is a beautiful, highly collectible genuine vintage 1979 Fitz and Floyd ceramic coffee mug. This charming piece features a highly detailed, 3D raised relief design of a sad-eyed, floppy-eared puppy dog resting its chin on its paws at the base of the mug. The creative design carries over to the handle, which is uniquely shaped to look like the puppy's curled tail.
The mug features a glossy cream/off-white base glaze accented with hand-painted soft grey spots/patches on the body, a black nose, and expressive black and white eyes.
The unglazed bottom rim is fully stamped in black with the official vintage maker marks:
