Vintage 1979 Schmid “Starlight Angel” Christmas collector plate featuring a sweet angel holding a candle, surrounded by golden stars and a small evergreen branch. The design is by Sister Berta Hummel, known for her charming angelic and childlike artwork.
The plate features a soft blue border, a cream-colored background, and gold-tone “Christmas 1979” lettering. The reverse includes the original Schmid identification and edition information.
A lovely addition to a vintage Christmas collection, Hummel collection, or holiday display. Also makes a thoughtful gift for a collector of traditional angel artwork and vintage holiday décor.
