Vintage 1978 JACQUES HENRI LARTIGUE "TIME LIFE BOOKS" NUMBER 272 ENGLISH PORTFOLIO with TWO PHOTOS
Time Life Books limited edition English language portfolio created in 1978.
Each photo signed and numbered 272 of 5,000.
The portfolio itself is also signed and numbered.
Double-weight Kodak Portalure G paper and mounted in blind-stamped 2-ply mounts with the original autochrome reproduced using sheet-fed gravure
Housed in a blue velvet portfolio case with an elaborate Art Nouveau fleur-de-lys pattern and a gilt caption label on the front cover.
Also contained in the portfolio are an embossed large booklet and a mounted original color autochrome inside a marble-lined window.
The portfolio is 14" x 17" x 2.5" inches.
The booklet is 13" x 16" inches and has 16 pages which includes the front and back cover.
There are two of the ten photographs included with this portfolio.
Each photo is numbered.
The photos are mounted within an open-window folder measuring 13" x 16" with a protective paper over the photo itself.
The beach photo measures 6" x 8" inches.
The park photo measures 7.5" x 8.5" inches.
Overall weight: Six pounds.
Condition: Pre-Owned, Excellent, however please review the photos to decide for yourself as I am not a quality assessment expert.
Some surface wear on the outer portfolio and within the opening flaps of the portfolio.
Some slight aging as expected over time.
There are two of the original 10 photos that are included within this portfolio.
The gold ties are securely in place and function properly.
Has always been stored in a dark, climate controlled, odor-free and smoke-free environment.
