HANDMADE IN TAIWAN – REPUBLIC OF CHINA
The ship features a detailed painted hull, cloth sails with decorative period graphics, wooden components, multiple masts and spars, extensive cord rigging, flags and a black pedestal displaying the MAYFLOWER name.
The pedestal is more than a display stand—it incorporates the money-bank compartment. The sliding compartment remains functional and opens and closes properly. The original underside “Hand Made in Taiwan” paper label also remains present.
The ship itself displays beautifully! It is approximately 50 years old and shows appropriate vintage wear. Cloth sails have discoloration/spotting and some curling and creasing. There are scattered areas of paint loss and surface wear on the hull/base. Rigging and other delicate components show age and should be handled carefully. The ship itself measures approximately: 11.5” L × 3.5” W × 11” H
An interesting collectible for enthusiasts of vintage coin banks, Mayflower memorabilia, nautical antiques and collectibles, sailing ship models, 1970s décor, advertising specialties and vintage Taiwan handicrafts!
