1975 Lionstone Mecklenburg Bicentennial Sculptured Porcelain Decanter
Beautiful vintage 1975 Lionstone Sculptured Porcelain commemorative decanter featuring a detailed colonial-era scene created in recognition of the Mecklenburg Bicentennial 1775–1975.
The dimensional scene depicts a colonial rider on a rearing horse in front of a historic-style home, with detailed stairways, brickwork, windows, siding, roof shingles, and cobblestone-style ground. A Mecklenburg Bicentennial 1775–1975 medallion is incorporated into the base.
The back retains an informational label titled “The ‘Original’ Declaration of Independence,” which discusses the Mecklenburg Declaration of Independence and events of May 1775 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

This piece was originally made as a liquor/whiskey decanter and is being sold EMPTY as a vintage collectible. No alcohol is included.
Condition: This is a pre-owned vintage piece dating to 1975 and shows age-related wear consistent with its approximately 50-year age. There is visible discoloration/staining on the back of the house, along with aging, discoloration, and wear to the original informational label. Other normal surface wear and age-related imperfections may be present.
Please note: Because this piece was originally used as an alcohol decanter, the interior may retain a residual alcohol/liquor odor from its previous use. It has not been represented as suitable for food or beverage use and is being sold as a vintage collectible/display piece.
