Vintage 1971 Walt Disney “Julebakst” Christmas Advent Calendar, measuring approximately 12\" x 11\". Features a colorful holiday baking scene packed with classic Disney characters including Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, Huey, Dewey & Louie, and others, with 24 numbered advent doors incorporated into the illustration.
The front reads “JULEBAKST” and “Alle Barns Adventkalender.” The reverse shows four different calendar designs from the series and identifies the maker as Åsmund S. Lærdal, Stavanger, Norway, with a © 1971 Walt Disney Productions copyright. A U.S. distributor label reads “Manufactured for Kurt S. Adler, Inc., New York, New York 10010.”
This example still has what appears to be its older protective plastic wrapping and retains an H & G $1.49 price sticker, which is a neat piece of its retail history. There is visible age/storage wear including creasing, wrinkling, edge/corner wear and wear to the plastic. Please examine photos closely for condition.
