Original vintage 1970s Aviva Enterprises Snoopy Scenes trophy figurine featuring Lucy Van Pelt from Charles M. Schulz's beloved Peanuts comic strip. Lucy is captured in one of her characteristic outspoken poses, standing with her mouth open, one finger raised, and her other hand resting confidently on her hip. She wears her familiar bright orange dress with a contrasting collar, black hair, and matching shoes. The colorful molded figure features raised black outlines that emphasize the original comic-strip styling. Beneath Lucy is a rectangular black display base with a gold-tone plaque boldly declaring "GIRLS ARE SMARTER THAN BOYS." The humorous message and expressive character design make this an especially appealing example of vintage Peanuts merchandise.

One of the distinctive features of this Aviva collectible is its REMOVABLE GOLD-TONE MESSAGE PLAQUE. The rectangular plaque slides out of the black display base and can be removed or reinserted without disturbing the Lucy figure. Both the original plaque and complete figurine are included. The reverse of the display base retains its oval Aviva manufacturer label reading "HANDCRAFTED IN HONG KONG BY AVIVA," while the back of the figurine contains molded Peanuts copyright and manufacturer markings. The base also features a textured molded finish resembling wood grain. The complete figurine measures approximately 5.5 inches tall and displays nicely on a shelf, desk, or alongside other vintage Peanuts collectibles.

This original 1970s collectible comes with its colorful blue Aviva Snoopy Scenes retail box, decorated with bright red hearts, Snoopy and Woodstock illustrations, and vintage Peanuts graphics. The front of the box includes a large clear display window and retains an original Pic 'n Save price sticker marked 98 cents, a particularly fun reminder of the era when these character collectibles were sold in department and discount stores. The box identifies Aviva Enterprises of San Francisco, California, and includes Peanuts copyright markings dated 1958 and 1965. The figurine bears a Hong Kong manufacturing label, while the accompanying original packaging carries a Taiwan manufacturing marking. This boxed example offers an attractive combination of colorful vintage packaging, expressive character artwork, and the humorous personality that has made Lucy a favorite among generations of Peanuts fans.
