Up for sale from my personal collection of over 20 years is acomplete, authentic 1970 Leslie S-5TR VAR 5-chime train horn. This is a highlydesirable New Jersey production era unit featuring the classic, smoothdome-back power chambers.
The horn is in original, un-restored railroad-pull conditionwith beautiful "railroad patina" paint layers showing its history:factory orange primer, a white layer, a second orange primer layer, and a blacktopcoat. The white layer heavily leads you to a 1970 Burlington Northern fleetassignment.
