Vintage 1969 Vari-Vue G-60 Apollo 11 Moon Landing 3D Lenticular Framed Picture For Sale

Up for sale is a wonderful piece of space age memorabilia: an authentic, vintage 1969 Apollo 11 Moon Landing 3D Lenticular Picture produced by Vari-Vue (Pictorial Productions Inc., Mount Vernon, N.Y.).This classic mid-century piece features a stunning 3D \"motion\" effect depicting astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin planting the American flag on the moon with Earth visible in the background. Because this artwork was designed and produced just prior to the historic July 20, 1969 landing, the reverse side features the iconic, genuine factory stamp reading: \"NOT OFFICIAL PHOTO / SCENES ARE SIMULATED.\"Lenticular Print: Excellent vintage condition. The 3D lenticular effect remains crisp, sharp, and highly reactive to movement. The colors are remarkably bright and vivid, showing excellent blues and whites without the heavy fading or yellowing common for plastic prints of this era.• Backing: The back cardboard panel is clean, completely intact, and securely held. The factory-printed text, catalog number (G-60), and patent numbers are perfectly legible and free of water damage or heavy tearing.• Frame: The wood frame shows minor, typical vintage wear consistent with age, but remains structurally sound and displays beautifully.
